I have no way to marathon “The L Word,” so instead I am going to marathon episodes of “Law and Order SVU” that feature characters from “The L World.”
Tonight’s episode, “Privilege” (S.4,E. 17), featured Malaya Drew (Adele) as the victim’s roommate.
It was also full of Cabenson moments - the first “couple” created by subtext that I ever shipped!

Second episode of my “L Word in SVU” Marathon” features Pam Grier aka Kit Porter as Assistant U.S. Attorney Claudia Williams in the episode “Disappearing Acts” (S.4,E.5).
It also features some apparent troubles in Cabenson paradise. Alex and Olivia are clearly bringing the personal to work….look at that side eye. And the arms crossing. And ALL THE RAGE!
Best line of the episode (last pic):
“Causing you trouble sounds like fun to me.” ~ Olivia

This is the next “L Word/SVU” episode I’m watching - Fallacy from Season 4. It is my all time favorite episode so I am waiting til I have the time to watch it and appreciate it…..again.

Continuing the “L Word in SVU” marathon is Kate Moennig as Cheryl Avery in ‘Fallacy’ (Season 4, Episode 21). I have to say that is my all-time favorite episode of SVU. The story is amazing, Kate Moennig is perfect, and Olivia and Alex are heavily featured (together).
Since I ended up with 21 stills from this episode, I’m paring down to about 14 and splitting them into a “Kate Moennig” set and a “Cabenson” set.
Finally - the whole time I watch the first interrogation scene between Cheryl Avery and Detective Benson all I can think “Mariska Hargitay and Kate Moennig were both there” and that if I were there it would make my life

Second photoset for fallacy because it’s just too good of an episode to have only one.
Mariska Hargitay and Stephanie March and Kate Moennig are perfect humans.

Dilemma
So I’ve started watching the next episode for my “L Word/SVU” picture sets and it turns out that Alex Cabot is not in the remainder of them. I almost don’t see the point of SVU photosets if there’s no Cabenson, but I also fee like there’s no way I can stop posting the “L Word/SVU” episodes now that I’ve committed to finishing. I don’t know if I should just include Cabenson photos anyway or just photos of Olivia? I don’t know.

Addition #4 to my “L Word/SVU” photo set collection is Jodi Lerner a.k.a. Marlee Matlin as Dr. Amy Solwey in the episode “Painless” (Season 5, Episode 22).
Despite the fact that this episode is extremely depressing, I like watching it because I like the episodes where Detective Much (Richard Belzer) gets personally invested in the case. Also Marlee Matlin is amazing.
The only disappointing thing about the episode is that Alex Cabot has already been moved to Witness Protection so there are no Cabenson feelings.

Photoset 5/6 in the “L Word/SVU” crossover posts! This time it’s Sandra Bernhard a.k.a. Charlotte Birch a.k.a. Jenny Schecter’s writing teacher because nobody remembers that character’s name as Priscilla Chaney for the defense in Law and Order: SVU episode “Desperate” (Season 4, Episode 18).
This episode includes the amazing Alex Cabot line:
“Well he wouldn’t be a single parent if he hadn’t murdered his wife.”
